Customized decks and personalized outdoor living areas are a hot trend in home improvement upgrades, and a great-looking deck may entice more people to come see your home.                Building or updating an existing deck isn’t simply a great investment; it also provides opportunities to personalize your backyard and customize the...

But you can repaint, replace flooring, remodel cabinetry in kitchens and bathrooms, add wallpaper, replace appliances – even add a room to an existing structure (which can significantly add to value as you increase the square footage of your home).      The Federal Housing Administration ca...

When you list your Amarillo real estate or Angel Fire, NM home for sale you will have to fill out a sellers disclosure form. The seller’s disclosure form states everything that you know about the home. When filling out this form, you will need to be as honest as you possibly can about your property. If you have property damage that you are aware of such as water damage, mold damage, lead paint, major repairs, etc, you will need to be honest and disclose it. What do I need to disclose when selling my home? You will need to disclose everything you can think of that a buyer would want to know before they purchase your home. You can get a new look into Amarillo’s past at the new Amarillo Historical Museum. It’s the newest addition of museums to Amarillo, TX. You’ll find many types of treasures from the area’s history thanks to Tom Warren II. He has worked hard over the past 18 months to get the museum open to the public. And best of all, the Mr. Warren applied for a nonprofit status so no one will pay admission. For now the museum will depend on fundraisers to keep it open and there is already talk of expansion as the communities interest grows. The Warren family came to Amarillo, TX in 1895 so they have a lot of history in the community. Many of the items in the museum are Warren family memorabilia while other items have been donated by local residents. You’ll find a large collection of photos, newspapers...

And, it’s a good time to prepare for spring weather with a home disaster preparedness kit that includes water, food, blankets, batteries, portable radio, and flashlights.
