Summer may be over as for the children now that they are back in school but the summer heat remains warm in Texas. One of our favorite treats on a warm, sunny afternoon is shaved ice.  Located in the city of Allen off of Main Street and east of Jupiter Street is a local small business owner who has for years parked a Shaved Ice stand in the parking lot next to their regular small business during the summer months. Times are changing though. A big name seized the opportunity to build right next door counting on the local traffic already established by this small business owner. If they do close-up their Shaved Ice shop we will be looking for another location for our cool summer treat.  Here's one little guy that enjoyed his Shaved Ice.
