I just finished the October Sales Market Reports for both Gallatin TN and Hendersonville TN.   These reports can be found at https://pamrumley.com/market-report/It remains a strong Buyer's Market for the entire area.  In a way, it's a blessing - but it sure makes it hard sometimes to find the right home for a Buyer before it gets sold to someone else. I also have prepared the following graph to show which price ranges sell the best in both towns. Check out the new website - I would love to hear feedback on ways it could give visitors a better user experience!

Hendersonville TN & Sumner County 2013 Home Sales Statistics Hendersonville TN and Sumner County Home home sales have increased this year in both volume and median price!  When considering single family home sales between January and November, the median sale price is up 5.4% from 2012 to 2013!  The median sale price for 2013 surpassed the median sale prices for the past 4 years!  This doesn’t necessarily mean that every home is worth more than previous years but the local market as a whole has greatly improved and is moving out of the down market we’ve experienced the past several years.  Similarly, the sales volume for 2013 has surpassed the volume of 2007.  Also, the median Days on Market has dropped and homes are selling faster than they have in 6 years!
