Sometimes people come into our lives for only a seaon. Sometimes people come into our lives for a reason. Sometimes people come into our lives and we get the real chance to know them, to love them and that friendship last's a lifetime. We never really know when our journey together will end but no matter what happens or how it happens we are always grateful for the moments, the times, the joy of having that person in our lives. Christina Passed Away Last Night After a Brave Battle Against Cancer. Today, it is raining. Christina loved flowers. In fact every chance my daughter would get she would find and pick flowers for Christina. ~ I think Christina is bringing the rain so she can spoil us with the flowers she loved so much. I will never look at a flower the same again ~ For anyone who...

Crossville TN Real Estate I cannot tell you how many times I have received a telephone call or an email from a Consumer after purchasing a lot for sale here in Crossville. The purpose of their call is to ask me to fix the situation they are now in because they did not use an Agent to purchase a piece of land and now, bills are steadily coming in. Yesterday, I received a telephone call very similar to this. A couple purchased several lots in Fairfield Glade, a deed restricted community here in Crossville. When they got on the phone you could hear the panic in his voice. His wife stood standing holding a bill for Property Owner Association Fee's on several lots. In turn they wanted me to hurry, list and sell these parcels as they were never advised they would have to pay these fee's and i...

The Government Should Take Lessons From Housewives. Dear Diary, We, the people, sit here today on pins and needles, more like sleeping in a rose bush full of thorns waiting to know if the Obama Stimulus Plan will be passed and/or will work. As grown men and women all dressed up in their fancy suits and ties hold the future of America in their hands we sit back and listen, watch the mud sling, we receive emails from our National Association of Realtors " for our voices to be heard ", we hoard what money we have and we pray that someone will listen to the guy who is being more conservative wearing the JCPenny pin stripped suit rather than the guy wearing some fancy suit of some designers name I can't pronounce anyway. Diary, my passion has always been to live freely, within my means and t...

As I look out my office window enjoying the beautiful blue sky, knowing that Monday we are to get 3-4 inches of snow, I still am in love with Eastern Tennessee weather. I use to live in Colorado where the saying is" If you do not like the weather-wait a few hours and it will change". Well that is very true here also. The weather is so various that you can enjoy something different every few days. The summers are not too hot or humid. The winters are not too cold or snowy compared to the North. It is the best of the best! We have 4 wonderful seasons. Fall is absolutely gorgeous with every shade of gold, red, and green.  North Carolina has nothing on us! The Cumberland Plateau is about 5 degrees cooler than Nashville or Knoxviile-that you have to remember when watching the news. If you have...

Veterans Day or Remembrance Day in other parts of the World honors some 24.9 million military veterans in America. A significant day in remembering those who fought for our freedom, who stood on enemy lines protecting and serving. Today, we honor those who stand with flags remembering their fight, we honor those who gave their lives for the freedom we have today. Today, I can't help but to remember the stories my great-grandfather and grandfather told me. Their experiences at war, the loss of friends literally right beside them. The fear of how they never thought they would make it home and with every blood shattered the longing for peace within their hearts. Today, as we remember our Veterans I also cry for the young man so very close and dear to me leaving for Afghanistan. Behind he l...
