With over 5000 homes currently, and more planned by Del Webb/Pulte this burgeoning community is growing as fast as the developer can build. With a location equidistant to Savannah, Beaufort, and to Hilton Head, Sun City is definitely a roaring lion. Its over 400 clubs, 3 pools, 2 golf courses, makes the active Sun City lifestyle highly desirable. Many residents participate in the national Senior Olympics and the softball teams have won regional championships. Unfortunately some seem to think Sun City folks are a bunch of old foogies who sit on their duffs and do nothing but eat and sleep. Nothing could be further from the truth. The only place they may be sitting is atop a motorbike.
