What a treat we experienced tonight.  We attended the fall concert of the Winthrop University Jazz Ensemble and what a tremendous group of talented individuals who will blow you away with their skill and passion for music.  The music selections were great and really showcased all of the musicians that made up the jazz ensemble.  It was evident that every musician in the group has a love for music and they enjoy the whole jazz experience.  The recital hall was packed and it was great to see so many students from the Northwestern Marching Band in attendance.  York County should be proud of the number of students from our area performing in this ensemble.  The concert was free and the caliber and quality of music performed tonight was absolutely incredible.  We can't wait for the spring c... 11/03/2009
