This is a new small community being developed, I believe, for the Lower Income Workforce Families which is needed in the Mount Pleasant area. It comprises of 23 new single family homes, just off US Highway 41 in the historic Phillip's Community which dates back to former slaves or "freedmen" who settled here in the 1870's.
