I happened to find one of my favorite types of restaurants yesterday in Honea Path. The Kitchen and Bakery at 26 N Main in Honea Path is a nice place I would recommend checking out. You can experience made from scratch foods and everything is made when ordered so you are not talking about the typical fast food or corporate owned, 1000 restaurants and they are all the same thing here. No sir, real food made with top quality ingredients. And it is fresh. The atmosphere is quiet, calm and relaxing and the staff will not let your drink get more than 3/4 empty! Plus with daily menu specials, there is always something unique to enjoy. Yesterday they had BBQ chicken, mac & cheese, creamed corn or turnip roots and ...wait for it....Banana Pudding!
