The Mortgage Pre-Approval Process The Mortgage Pre-Approval Process, should be your first step in the home buying process and works the same for all loan programs such as Conventional, VA, FHA and USDA. We'll get a picture of your current situation...things like residence, job & credit history, finances and your goals for a payment and sales price. We'll see which loan programs fit your needs.  We'll then collect some documentation & submit the information to underwriting for a loan approval.   Getting Pre-Approved provides two benefits.  You'll increase your negotiating power and you'll know how much house you can afford.   It doesn't cost a penny to call to see how much you can get pre-approved for.  I look forward to starting The Mortgage Pre-Approval Process with you.  http://greenv...

We couldn’t agree more. Greenville has long been an attractive destination for retirees. Spread across Greenville’s country side are beautiful hills, streams, and lakes.  In addition, the low cost of living and diverse choice of neighborhoods and types of residences make Greenville SC a great place to retire. Greenville has amazing local restaurants and has become a food haven. There are 80 restaurants alone in downtown Greenville and t...

Mortgage rates climb higher for three consecutive weeks and have reached the highest level in a year as reported in the weekly mortgage market survey by Freddie Mac. The rate reached an averaged 3.81% on a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage. It is higher by .06 compared to the average rate of 3.75 last year. The average 15-year fixed mortgage increased to 2.98% and the 5-year adjustable-rate mortgage jump to 2.66%. Mortgage rates are climbing! Given that people mostly choose financing to buy homes, low mortgage rates are always a good sign for homebuyers, it means they have more purchasing power. Despite the climbing mortgage rates, there’s no reason for homebuyers to fret. The mortgage rates still remain low by historical standards. However this may not last longer as some analysts predict th...

How to sell and buy a house: use a Realtor The selling or buying of a home is, for most people, the largest financial transaction of their lives. Finding a potentially suitable home or deciding to sell your own are only the starting point on what can be a smooth trip or, if handled poorly, a nightmare. Stress can cause people to make poor decisions and prime them to take poor advice. Therefore in stressful decision making times it is vital to have an advisor that you can trust. So here's an answer to the question how to sell and buy a house? Always use a Realtor.  Just like a person who says “but I'll be careful” as they try unicycling or Jaegermeister for the first time. The simple act of going alone into a real estate transaction indicates that you are not being careful. In 2012 89% o...
