If your neighborhood could talk what would it say? Would it be able to help sell itself? Speaking with a new first time home buyer I wanted to pick their brain and find out what experiences they had when searching for a home and what sorts of things would have made their experience better. As summer comes to a close and the fall begins, it is exciting to reflect on how great the real estate market in Fort Mill has been over the past 12 months.  Signs of improvement are abundant and both buyer and seller reluctance is not as evident as in recent years.   According to the Carolina Multiple Listing Service, there has been a 35% increase in closed single family homes within Fort Mill year over year and days on market has decreased by 18 which is a significant change for the market. Another exciting sign of improvement and growth for Fort Mill is the increase in new home sales.  Closings are up almost 50% year over year and the pace is continuing.  While we watch communities such as the beloved Baxter Village and Reserve at Gold Hill sell their remaining few lots, new communit...

It’s almost time to show our patriotism and celebrate the birth of our great nation and there are multiple ways to do so this year in the Fort Mill area with fireworks galore, parades and the quintessential American game, baseball.   Fourth of July Festivities 1. Cheer on the Charlotte Knights as they take on the Gwinnett Braves at Knights Castle in Fort Mill. Gates open at 5pm, game starts at 7:15pm, and the Wbt Skyshow follows the game. This is billed as the largest Fourth of July fireworks display in the southeast and the game sells out each year so get your tickets early. Online tickets can be purchased here.
