Prices range from $199,900 to a high of $569,990 which is new construction around the shopping center in what is called ParkView. The week in ChesterbrookChesterbrook Market Review SoldThis last week, April 15-21, there have been two homes that have settled, both 2 bed 2 full bath condo apartments, in different sub-developments of Chesterbrook. One at $195,000, $154.76 per square foot and the other at $264,000, $182.32 per square foot. Under ContractThree homes have gone pending ranging in price from $189,900 to $369,000, the latter is a 4 bed 2 1/2 bath town house compared to the other two homes which are 2 bed 2 bath apartments, one of which only came on the market this week. For SaleThere is one home which came on the market this week a 2 bed 2 1/2 bath town home with garage priced at $330,000 on Heyward Road offered by Coldwell Banker Preferred. I went to the Opening night party last night and could see several pieces had sold straight away. My brother is exhibiting so if you go stop by and say hello. Where is the best Place to live in Pennsylvania? A new report by Niche highlighting the best places in the burbs to live places Chesterbrook in Tredyffrin Easttown School District as #1, Tredyffrin as #2, Devon #7, Paoli #10 and Easttown as #22. This report is a little confusing in that Chesterbrook is part of Tredyffrin Township and Devon which is ranked #7 is part of Easttown and Tredyffrin Townships, whilst Paoli ranked #10 is part of Tredyffrin, Easttown and Willistown Townships as well. Where is Tredyffrin Easttown? What are the parameters for selection; location, which as we know in Real Estate is highly important. These four homes ranged from $178,000 for a 2 bedroom apartment to $386,000 for a 3 bed 2 1/2 bath town home.Thirteen homes are pending, that is they are awaiting settlement having progressed through home inspections and mortgage contingencies.Four homes are under contract, the first step after receiving an offer before going pending. Tredyffrin Township spraying for Mosquitoes   Thursday night 7/31/14 from 8.30 pm to midnight Tredyffrin Township is going to be spraying some areas of the township for mosquitoes. A mosquito with West Nile Virus was recently discovered in Downingtown and this may be the impetus for this action. For more information and a map you can go to the Chester County website. This will be from trucks and not aerial spraying from helicopters or planes.

Tredyffrin Township is once again holding open air concerts at Wilson Farm Park.Here is the 2014 schedule for the Summer Concert Series.   June 26 - Almost Fab July 10 - Chico’s Vibe July 17 – Sofa Kings July 24 – Crow’s Feet July 31 – The O'Fenders  All concerts are free to the public and held on Thursdays at the Shire Pavilion with a start time of 7:00pm.
