Today, I have been thinking about what I am grateful for. There are so many things to be thankful for. Speaking to so many people in the last several weeks, I must say one of the things was my childhood. Life is complicated for children growing up.  We were growing up in a time when your social life was social. Not the Social Network outdoor social. You played with other children. The  Xboxes, iPads, or iPhones did not exist.  I lived in the city. We played in the driveways after school and after dinner. We played ball, hopscotch, and hoola hoops. I am grateful for my little friend Cleo she sits at my desk and watches me as get my work done. I had to clear off a special spot for her as her favorite spot was sitting on top of my laptop. Cleo is a Siamese cat with beautiful blue that eyes speak to me as I sit and type away at the keyboard. When the phone rings and I start to have a conversation she jumps onto my lap and often startles me as she makes herself comfortable curling up for attentionThere are also times I feel a tap on my shoulder it is Cleo letting me know it is time for me to take a break and give her a treat.  Looking for something interesting to watch, check out The Gilded Age Part 2 It's a TV series that showcases the high society of old and new money in New York City, filled with historical insights.
