Here is an interesting historical event happening.  On Sunday, October 14, 2007 at 1PM a charity event is being held on Main St. in Nazareth, PA.  This event is being held by The Blue Star Mothers of America, Brown Daub Ford Lincoln Mercury, and a local radio station, 95.1 WZZO in conjunction with The Nazareth Chamber of Commerce.  People are invited to place quarters in the centerline of South Main St. from the Circle to Prospect St. and back.  If this event is successful, 64,000 quarters ill be on the line and $16,000 will have been raised for the Blue Star Mothers and Lehigh Valley Military Affairs Council.  The money raised will go directly to our local military troops and their families.  This is also an attempt to place in the "Guinness Book of World Records".There will also be a ... 10/14/2007

Have you been to Mara's Cafe and Bakery in Nazareth? Well, if not you might want to check it out. They are offering Free Ice Coffee (no purchase obligation) and there is no end date on this promotion as far as the cashier knew. Not only was it an ice coffee but one with syrup. Ok, not only was I excited about the FREE ice coffee, but they also have free internet and it was as easy as turning my computer on. I don't know about you but I have had trouble at some of the hotspots in the Lehigh Valley where I either have to pay for internet or can't get on. Mara's also offers live entertainment on Friday and Satruday eveings running from 8-11 pm. Wondering how the Real Estate Market has been in Nazareth, PA recently? The Lehigh Valley Association of Realtors produces a monthly update based on live statistics. Below are results for the Nazareth School District. The following information represents activity for residential homes in the Nazareth School District, homes listed on the Lehigh Valley MLS as of May 2007. There were 64 current listings, with 79 new listings, 32 pending listings and 25 sales. The average sale price was $303,000. The number of listings and pending/solds were down quite a bit from last year when in May of 2006 when we saw 311 new listings, 133 pending listings and 114 sales with an average sales price of $294,000.
