Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church on Woodbourne Road in Levittown, PA was found Sunday morning, vandalized, spray painted, and statues were broken. Also, a device was found behind the church which resembled a pipe bomb and the bomb squad was brought in to destroy the questionable device. It is a shame. Over the years, this church has been a target of vandals on numerous occasions. What's the deal with these people destroying churches around here? Slowly but surely, the Levittown Shopping Center is being rebuilt, and yes, a WalMart Supercenter is being put there. In Levittown, PA construction has already started for the mega-mart, and the tentative date for the opening will be sometime in April 2009. The WalMart in Fairless Hills, PA is going to be shut down and this will be it's replacement. Among WalMart, other nationally well known companies will share the grounds of the old Levittown PA Shopping Center. Home Depot, Wachovia Bank, and Taco Bell are currently operating. A few other names joining big "W" are Deb, Dressbarn, Ross, and Famous Footwear.
