  Lure Coursing – This Weekend at the Doylestown Dog Park/Turk Park III!       Photograph courtesy of Doylestown Dog Park   My friends at the Doylestown Dog Park have informed me of another great event taking place this weekend -- lure coursing at the Turk Park III.  Apparently, lure coursing is a fast-paced, fun case sport for dogs to work off some energy and to have a lot of fun!  The dogs chase the lure which is a "Bunny" (a white plastic bag) that is attached to a line that is controlled by a lure operator.     Description of Events Doylestown Township Parks & Recreation and Hilltown Dog Club Lure Coursing have teamed up to offer Lure Coursing, a great canine activity at Turk Park III (almshouse Rd. adjacent to the dog park).
