This is a vent post about an occurrence only 30 minutes fresh.  It's a "localism" and a sign of the times, unfortunately.I'm 58-years old.  I wasn't around when the phrase "The Bee's Knees" was uttered.  We had different words to describe AWESOME!  We had "rad."  We had "groovy."  We even went so far as to refer to something as: "bitchin' . . .  I took this photo a few weeks ago.  There was a beautiful halo encircling the Moon that night.  I wanted to capture it.  It was dramatically lighting up the low-hanging clouds.  The other day I uploaded the photo and was amazed to see this photo.  Supposedly, this occured because of "camera shake."  I'm not into photography, or ET's, but the tree silouettes didn't shake, and the clouds seem to be firmly affixed.In this ho hum, drab, mean-spirited, cruel, irreverent world in which we live . . . Well, it is time to figure out again, why it is soooo hard to find a home in the Beaverton area and today we are going to focus on Zip Code 97008. The definition of "Absorption Rate" is basically the number of available homes and dividing it by the average of homes sold per month over the last year. Well, right now we are down to an absorption rate 1.73 Months. Basically if no more homes are put up for sale in the zip code of 97008 of Beaverton, Oregon then we would be out of homes in less than 2 months! That is why we are seeing 10-15 offers per home and offers are again being put in well over asking price.
