Last night was a huge success! Meet the Designers at Sheraton Furniture could not have gone better.  We had about 40 attendees for the event and they all seemed to enjoy the holiday decorating presentations by Kathy, Lisa and Sunny.  Linda was also introduced as our new designer and Flooring Specialist. While they were busy “presenting”, I took care of a young couple that has just purchased a home that needs to be furnished.  They got some wonderful ideas and I’m sure they will return soon to purchase. Several sales were made also…..a reclining sofa and a lift chair.       Did I mention I made those two sales? 11/11/2014

Pig and Whiskey in Downtown Willoughby Came and Went and if you missed it, you missed a lot of fun!       From what I hear, you'll have another chance to have a blast at the Pig and Whiskey, this was their inaugural kickoff to an annual event in Downtown Willoughby.               ...and, The Pig and Whiskey is where we celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary! We have a winner, and it's a member of ActiveRain..... Sheraton Furniture held a contest to name their "Marketing Director".  They put a post up on Facebook and anyone was eligible to enter a name for consideration.  The contest ran the entire month of April. Downtown Willoughby Ohio is more affordable than you think Downtown Willougbhy is a favorite place to move for many people who like the idea of walking to the neighborhood restaurants & bars, shops, salons or yoga studios.   With the majority of the Home Sale Prices being below $200,000, Downtown Willoughby Ohio is an affordable place to live.  The biggest issue we face right now is the amount of inventory in the area.   Currently there are only 7 houses for sale in the Downtown Willougbhy area with a listing price between $77,900 and $169,900. And in the past 6 months 7 houses have sold in the area ranging in sale price from $96,500 to $177,500. Change, new challenges, great opportunities.....it's a whole new ballgame. For all intents and purposes, I have been unemployed since November of 2011.  I helped a few family members with some renovations and decorating of their homes, but no "real job" as Mickey calls them. Well all of that changes tomorrow.  I start training for a part time job selling furniture at Sheraton Furniture in Willoughby, Ohio. I'm looking forward to the new adventure. Well I've got a reason to celebrate.   I hope you will all join me. Yesterday, I applied for a part time sales position at  Sheraton Furniture, a family owned, well established furniture store in my area.  They are located in Willoughby and carry quality, name brand furniture at reasonable prices.  The also offer free delivery in the greater Cleveland area. After speaking with the owner Larry for almost an hour, I  had the pleasure of meeting his wife Laurie.  Both delightful people that I knew instantly I could enjoy working for and with.....
