Lebanon Hosts 31st Annual Country Applefest September 28 2013 It's almost here, one of Lebanon's BIG events, the Country Applefest!  Now assuming you've recovered from this weekend's Oktoberfest in downtown Cincinnati, you want to mark your calendars for Saturday September 28th and head to downtown Lebanon for apples in MANY forms and types.  You'll feel like Bubba from Forrest Gump talking about shrimp, but drop in apples instead!  My personal favorite?  The apple fritters from Irons Fruit Farm!  But there will be plenty of other forms of apple, be it pies, freshly picked apples, cider, caramel covered apples or another apple version! Lebanon Ohio Schools Requesting Tax Levy Renewal August 6 2013 Taxes.  We all hate 'em, don't we?  Well maybe except for the accountants and IRS.  But Tuesday the Lebanon Ohio School District is asking for your money.  Not MORE money, just the same money you've been giving them for years.  The request is for a RENEWAL and not a NEW tax.  It amounts to about $61 a year per $100,000 in home value, and again, voting for its approval will NOT increase your current taxes. This levy is restricted in use and can ONLY be used for improvements or purchase of permanent assets with at least a five year life (think building improvements, books, computers, etc.).  The levy is NOT for current operating expenses. Now we're not trying to tell you how to vote.  The Tea Party folks are of course saying N...

Another Lebanon Shaker Run Home Sold By The Liz Spear Team of RE/MAX Elite! It only took 23 days from accepted contract to closing!  This week our buyers completed the purchase of this Fischer Homes model home in Lebanon's Shaker Run golf/pool community.  They can sit out on the back patio and see how many tee shots land in the lake rather than on the green!  And if they decide to golf, Shaker Run offers 27 holes!  The Shaker Run clubhouse has a restaurant and there are three pools too! Our buyers are already prepping the home to make it exactly the way they'd like it and are looking forward to calling 1470 Shaker Run their new home! It was a great experience working with these repeat clients and friends, and we're looking forward to the patio party, although we're not sure why Mark sai...

More Liz Spear Team of RE/MAX Elite Buyers Under Contract! We love it when past clients come back to town and ask us to help them buy their next Warren County home!  So some months back when Laurie & Mark said they were returning to the Cincinnati area we were happy to hear they'd be back!  The only question was if they'd be on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River (where we could set them up with a Kentucky agent), or on the Ohio side of the river where we could personally help them.  And fortunately they decided on the NORTH side of the Ohio River so we could have some fun with them sorting through available homes and talking to local new construction home builders like Inverness and Fischer.  Ultimately the search narrowed to three Fischer built market homes in Lebanon's Shaker Run gol...
