Lebanon Ohio Lights Up The Christmas Tree November 29 2013! Mark your calendar for 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday November 29th for Lebanon's Christmas Tree lighting ceremony!  That's assuming you've recovered from Thanksgiving, Black Friday shopping and eating leftover turkey....zzzzz....so tired....zzzzzz.  At 6:30 they'll have their annual Holiday Illumination and light up the tree at Christmas Tree Park (southeast corner of Broadway and Main and next to City Hall).  And Santa will be hiding out in the lobby of City Hall!  And how about a free carriage ride?  They'll have those through 8 p.m. leaving from right in front of City Hall! Hollywood Is Coming To Lebanon Ohio!  Hallmark Movie Shooting Plans! The Hallmark Channel is filming "The Christmas Spirit" in downtown Lebanon starting today through the week of October 11th.  Starring Nicollette Sheridan and Olympia Dukakis, they're running a tight schedule with the movie slated for 8 p.m. December 1st! Now this won't be Lebanon's first time in the spotlight, with "Milk Money" (Ed Harris and Melanie Griffith) and "Harper Valley PTA" (Barbara Eden) having visited our town in years past! Lebanon Antiques Show October 5th & 6th 2013 At Bowman Elementary Antique shopping alert!  Coming up fast is one of the biggest antique shows in the area, the Warren County Historical Society Antique Show and Sale!  This one has been around awhile, and this year will be held at Bowman Elementary (825 Hart Rd in Lebanon).   Doors open Saturday October 5 at 10 a.m., and the day's session concludes at 5 p.m.  Sunday session is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A one time admission fee of $8 gets you in both days.  Proceeds benefit the Warren County History Center and Glendower Historic Mansion. Thomas The Tank Engine Visits Lebanon September 6-8 & 13-15 2013 We're late getting this post out of the train station!  Thomas The Tank Engine's annual visit to the Lebanon Mason & Monroe Railroad in historic downtown Lebanon is already on the tracks and you may have already seen Thomas!  You know the young fans are going to be floating on cloud 9 to see their favorite locomotive in person!  Featuring Thomas the Tank Engine and cars for a 25 minute ride on the rails?  What more could a kid ask for??
