Lebanon City Government Civic Donations Continue for 2012 For a town of around 20,000 people, Lebanon offers quite a bit to quality of life.  Selected as one of Ohio magazines 2012 Top 5 Ohio Hometowns, it's easy to understand the selection when you know the city! Want more evidence that Lebanon is a great place to live?  The Lebanon city government has just released their latest civic donation list.  The Western Star reports that $3000 each will be going to the following organizations: Christmas Horse Carriage Festival County Arts Council (host of the annual Arts Festival) Country Applefest Committee Historic Downtown Lebanon Inc. 2011 Lebanon Ohio 45036 Condominium Market Report First of all, you may be thinking, "Lebanon has condos?"!  And it's true, Lebanon isn't the hotbed of condo activity like Mason, but Lebanon does have a growing condo market! There's a mix of older condos and duplexes, along with plenty of new construction condos also.  In most cases, these condos aren't located within Lebanon's city limits but within the townships on the outskirts (so no city tax for their residents).  There are two primary condo developments accounting for the bulk of the Lebanon condo market:  Fairway Crossings and Ironwood at Shaker Run.  Both communities are primarily 2 bedroom, 2 bath, but other than that they don't share much in common. December’s Season of Celebrations & Sharing:  Donovan Elementary Helping Big Brothers Big Sisters If you want a perfect example of Christmas spirit, look to the children.  I know it's popular opinion to think "those bleepin' kids are selfish and all they do is play video games and text", but that perception may be totally unfounded. Lebanon's Christmas Festival Horse Drawn Carriage Parade December 3 2011 Nothing will get you more into the Christmas spirit than a visit to the 23rd Annual Lebanon Christmas Festival Horse Drawn Carriage Parade on December 3rd 2011.  With a parade at 1 p.m. and a repeat performance at 7 p.m. with candlelight, we're talking in the neighborhood of 100 horse drawn carriages.  We've got everything from little ponies to the big draft horses pulling decorated carriages.  And who knows, there might be some snow flurries like last year to add to the festive atmosphere!
