The other day I provided a Feng Shui Consultation in downtown Manhattan. Before entering the building, I needed to determine the facing direction of the structure and take note of any significant features around the building that could be influencing its energy. I eventually identified the facing direction and recorded the compass reading. After doing so, I noticed a message on the sidewalk where I stood that said, "Live The Present." A common Feng Shui Question, “What is The Best Type of Desk for Your Home Office in Feng Shui?”A quick response is to begin by choosing a desk that has a solid flat surface. Second, most desks are encouraged to be made of wood, as this symbolizes strong support and a growth mindset. But if you can’t find a wood-designed desk, at least make sure the surface offers a solid surface and not a glass design. All aboard!! Jamaica Station has a direct connection to Grand Central Madison which is a new terminal that is directly below the Grand Central Terminal. The escalator in Grand Central Madison is the longest in New York City! - at 182 feet, with a one-way trip on the escalator taking about 90 seconds. It's recommended if you have a scheduled meeting, it best to leave some extra time to navigate your way out of the Grand Central Madison terminal. You can also view some amazing mosaics designed by artists Yayoi Kusama and Kiki Smith.  I'll admit, I didn't have time to fully explore as I was on a timeline to meet a client for a Feng Shui Consultation. One of the perks when providing Feng Shui consultations throughout New York City, is I get to visit locations I may not otherwise go to on my own. After completing a Feng Shui consultation I made it a point to check out various locations that included the New York Public Library in Bryant Park (which was helpful because I needed to renew my library card) and the Helmsley Building.The New York Public Library is located at 42nd Street and Fifth Avenue. The origins of the library began between 1890 and 1920.  The New York Governor Samuel J.
