Today it snowed most of the day.  It was fun watching  from my office window as the trees were coated with fluffy snow.The snowstorm finally came to an end in the late afternoon, and  I decided then to shovel the driveway,My timing was good because shortly after I started shoveling,  the sun was setting, the sky seem to be on fire, what a contrast to the fresh snow.I quickly grab the camera to record the day. 12/29/2016

Deer Run a newer Red Hook  NY Neighborhood Deer Run is truly a newer neighborhood in Red Hook NY.  The oldest house was built in the late 1990's.  Just down the road on Old Post Road North there are homes from the 1800's .  There are so many stories of places George Washington slept, but I am positive he did not set foot in the Deer Run neighborhood. The minimum lot size is three acres and the mininmum home size is 2000 square feet.  It is one of those subdivision where it is written into the deed that you can't have a boat in the driveway, approval needed for fencing, no clothes line etc.   Are there homes for sale on Deer Run? Recently I was looking at my plants when I noticed a spider sitting on one of my sedum.  Unfortunately for him he forgot to put out the DO Not Disturb sign. So, I took out my camera and started taking a couple of shots.  He was not pleased and so quickly scurried away.
