     I read Myrl's post yesterday about the two types of Wordless Wednesday posting.   As you already know. mine are rarely ever wordless. This morning I needed to put up a for sale sign and I thought I would get an early start since the heat and I mutually hate each other. On my way back I ran across this turtle who was out for an early morning stroll.  I could not resist taking a photo.  There must be lots of turtles on the move since I saw another one crossing the road yesterday in a different part of the County. Saturday I was showing houses and it was cold and windy I couldn't wait to get home and have a cup of tea.   AnywayI decided to take a different way home so I went down this country road with wide open fields, old farmhouses and barns.  As I went by this particular barn all I could think of was how cold it was.  It would have helped if I had only turned the car heater up. 01/16/2011

This is not an illusion- you are really seeing a fork in the road.  This sculpture is usually used as a reference point when giving people directions to Red Hook or Rhinebeck.  Say, you are on the Taconic  State Parkway and would would like to get to Rhinebeck. You would get off at the Rhinebeck exit and take a left on Route 199 in Milan to the first light where the road literally forks; go left  and you would be on Route 308 which would take you to the village of Rhinebeck or continue to the right on Route 199 and you would end up in the village of Red Hook.  This is the spot you will find this fork in the road.  Yes, for years I have been meaning to take a picture but it was very difficult since it is a busy intersection but I finally did it.Today I am sure many consumers are feeling ... 03/02/2008
