What You Don't Know Can Hurt You A few years ago a close friend of ours has a sister that lost their home to that little guy in the photo. Their teenage son was asleep and woke up to the sound of the smoke alarm. He walked into the kitchen to see it was engulfed in flames. He grabbed the dog and left the house. He called 911 and by the time the firemen came, the house was completely taken over by the flames. It only took the firemen a few minutes to get to their home.
