You Know Things Are Bad When..... A drifting satellite threatens U.S. cable programming. Run and record all the programming you can, lol. On May 23rd, a rogue satellite is drifting thousands of miles above Earth threatening to wander into another satellite's orbit and interfere with cable programming across the United States. A communications company said they lost control of their satellite named Galaxy 15 due to a solar storm. The Galaxy 15 is headed straight for a satellite that gives the U.S. cable programming. No one knows how long it's going to last according to the Galaxy 15 owners. You know, seeing this on the news this morning just made me laugh! Why? Growing Up In LindenhurstNY We moved to Lindenhurst in 1975. My parents bought their first home on 753 S. Pecan Street which is down the block from E.W. Bower Elementary School.
