Driving Around The Town of Babylon Is Getting Dangerous! In one week I've almost been hit 14 times! Most of them would have been head on. Most have been on residential streets in Lindenhurst and West Babylon. One guy was on his cell phone and came over onto my side of the street. Your Brain Fart Shouldn't Be MY Problem Today I'm showing new buyers 5 homes. I had it all planned out. I even called the listing agent on the second home as a reminder. A half hour later I get a call from that agent stating they have a class they forgot about. "Is there any way you can get here earlier?" Um, let me call the first homeowner to make sure I can get there earlier. Turns out that is not a problem. But here is the problem. I had to call the other homeowners asking if it would be ok if we got there earlier. I left messages with all of them. Not one phone called was returned. People have lives. These homeowners made time for me to show their homes and they figure I will be there at the time we agreed to. One homeowner was not happy and actually canceled the appointment! Wow. ... 09/08/2010

Chinese Drywall Are Killing Babies: When Is Our Government Going To Learn? So here I am, bringing up Internet Explorer and what is the first news title I see?: Army Probe Mysterious Baby Death At Fort Bragg. I'm reading it and it made me sick! 10 babies all under the age of 8 months, have died. Tests were performed in the rooms where these children died and all the tests came back positive for Chinese Drywall. The Army decided to investigate when 2 baby cousins died within 3 months of each other living in the same house. One death was attributed to SIDS, seven were ruled undetermined by military pathologists and two remain under investigation. This overseas building material emits high levels of sulfur gases. Hurricane Earl Long Island: Be Prepared This Weekend! The weather Gods are predicting that Hurricane Earl will come up to the Northeast and may be 200-300 miles off the coast of Long Island. Most Long Islanders never believe a hurricane will hit us due to primarily that our waters are colder. Either way, be prepared by having 3 days worth of food and water. Don't forget batteries for your flashlights and keep candles handy. Remember Hurricane Bob in 1991? Long Island didn't get directly hit and we had no power for days. Like I said, it's smart to be prepared because you never know. That goes for you surfers too! Open House Results For 602 Narragansett Villas Drive - Active Adult Community In Lindenhurst NY Yesterday was a great day at the Narragansett Villas in Lindenhurst NY! There are only a few other listings there and no one else are holding open houses. I had 4 individuals and 3 couples. Not a record breaker so far but it's a close 2nd. They all came in from passing by the Open House sign on the corner of Montauk Highway and the entrance to Narragansett Villas. Narragansett Villas is a 55 and over Active Adult Community situated on Montauk Highway. Very close to the Great South Bay Shopping Center and K-Mart. Domestic Violence Isn't Just On T.V. It's Real I have never been the victim of domestic violence. I have never known anyone personally who has. Today, I saw someone who is going through it now. I made a stop at our local precinct to ask a basic law question. I saw a woman probably in her early 30's and she was having a conversation with a police officer at a nearby table. She was reporting being hit by her husband recently. Apparently, she was being abused by him for a long time. I struck up a conversation with her and she was telling me he's having her followed, leaving threatening voice-mails and emails stating that he will die without her and she will die without him.
