Hyde Park NY Real Estate Market Report for November 2010 In Hyde Park NY during the month of November there were 12 single family detached homes sold versus 21 last month,  Most of the homes sold where in the the range of $100,000 -$235,000 with the exception of one house which sold for $530,000. Hyde Park does have a wide variety of homes in various price ranges. With the extended and expanding tax credit I hope more First time buyers will take advantage of the available inventory, low mortgage rates, and tax credit.   In Hyde Park NY during the month of October there were 21 closed sales in the single family detached market.  There were 3 mobile home in the mix as well as several foreclosures.  The selling price range from $48,100 a foreclosure to $323,000. The wisdom we learned from Perfect Pets Rescue:  Red Hook, NY Why am I posting abourt PPR?  It is one of my favorite rescue groups.  Probably because I found my adopted dog, Sammy, through them.  I think it is amazing what PPR goes through to rescue these dogs.  They are fun to follow on facebook and twitter too because you hear the puppy's stories and then actually see them when they are rescued.    In May the properties sold in Hyde Park were in the $100,000-$300,000 and this was no surprise since the majority of the inventory fell within that price range. Hyde Park Real Estate Market Report  For Single Family Detached  Homes - April 2009 In April there were 9 sales in the town of Hyde Park.  The sale price ranged from $4,500 - $330,000.  Yes $4,500 , and that was not a rental but the price of a mobile home.  Of the 9 sales 4 of them were short sale or banked owned properties. General Information Hyde Park, New York, is a beautiful town located in Northern Dutchess County, New York, in the Hudson River Valley.      The Eveready Diner in Hyde Park is very important place in the community.  Located minutes from FDR Library and the Vanderbilt Mansion; many on their way to and from these historic sites stop there for a bite.  It is not uncommon to see several tour buses in the parking lot.   So if a visit to this area is in your plans  stop by. I recently went up to visit family in New York State.  Of course my children know when we are getting closer because it is no longer flat, as we are use to in New Jersey.  One of the tours we went on was held at the Culinary Institute of America.  I would highly recommend this tour if you are in the Hyde Park area on a Monday morning or Thursday afternoon.  There is alot of interesting information provided along with several choices for dining.  Even if you can't make the tour, a stop for lunch or early dinner is a must! 11/10/2008

Hyde Park presently has about 135 properties listed for sale.  During the month of September there were only 5 sales a drop from the previous month which had 13 sales.  Most of the homes on the market falls between the 100's-400's range so there are many buying opportunities. With such high inventory level I will give Hyde Park sellers the same advice I have given to other sellers, price right, stage and most of all provide access. Hyde Park Real Estate At the time of this report there were 147 active listings in Hyde Park NY with properties ranging from $11,500-$3,200,000.  These properties ranged in age from 1850- 2008 .  An analysis of the data showed that most of the properties sold were in the $200,000 range.
