Panamanian Day Parade/Defile de los Panameños was held on Saturday, October 12, 2019, in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, New York. The event was organized by The Day of Independence of Panamanians in New York, Inc. Their mission is to plan to develop and carry out an annual Independence Parade which will diffuse and disseminate information regarding their culture and their folklore in the United States. To celebrate Panama's separation from Colombia, the Panamanian Parade has been held for the past 24 years in Brooklyn, NYC 10/13/2019
