Wow, yesterday was such a beautiful day.  As I went to my last appointment for the day in Dobbs Ferry, I fell in love iwth the view.  It was just one of those wow moments.  Her apartment was so beautifully decorated with a wide open floor plan and plenty of space and it just leads your eyes to the most wonderful view of the Hudson.  She is on the hill and it is breathtaking.    Afterwards, I drove about 50 feet to a look out a point to snap some pictures. It was so bright and the weather was so perfect.  What a wonderful place to live and hang out.  It was so bright, it was challenging to take pictures and my eyes kept tearing. This does not do it justice.  And, in one of them, you can see the Tappan Zee bridge in the distance...but I don't think it came out on the camera  - weird.   So... 03/18/2012

I'm still a relatively new agent (I received my license a year ago, and started working about 11 months ago).   To further complicate the start of a new business, five months ago I changed my name and moved to a new town and county.  I've been struggling a bit with getting my business started, since I've had to learn all about my new area, had to become familiar with a totally different pricing environment, had to become familiar with new agents and offices, had to market/market/market and had to start networking and meeting potential new friends, customers and clients. I am not a big jazz fan, but I always loved attending the free Wednesday night concerts on the banks of the Hudson River when I lived in Dobbs Ferry. I bet you will too! Concerts are held every Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8pm at the Dobbs Ferry Waterfront Park.  Come with a blanket or chairs and bring your dinner and beverages with you.  Sitting on a blanket near the beautiful Hudson river, watching boats go up and down the river with the sun sinking in the sky, while live music plays in the open air is an awesome experience.   So it doesn't matter if you prefer soft rock, blues, acoustic guitar and pop music (as I do)!  If you attend a free jazz concert at the Dobbs Ferry Waterfront Park, you will not be sorry. Click here to see the performers for this year's season. Besides its great community spirit, its closeness to Manhattan, and its "small town" feel, one of my favorite things about the place I live is the Waterfront Park.  Dobbs Ferry is one of the towns located right on the Hudson River, and the scenic park provides an awesome spot to read a book, catch some rays, sketch the scene north to the Tappan Zee bridge, or south to NYC and the George Washington bridge, and picnic.   I was there today, taking in the mid-April Spring scene and I snapped a few pictures.  I'm attaching a few of my favorites.  Enjoy them! The wind is evident in the first - both on the river surface, and by the tree branches. The only other inhabitants were enjoying themselves as well. A view towards the George Washington bridge and NYC (south): And my final favorite, with... 04/21/2011

Yes, you heard me right...someone hit my car TWICE.  Not once, but twice...and while I was sitting in it in a parking lot. Honestly, some people just shouldn't be allowed to drive.  This is pathetic.
