Recycling isn't just a trend. It is here to stay. The Reno real estate market is seeing a huge increase in buyers looking to purchase "green" homes. This is understandable, especially when you consider that energy costs are on the rise. It would appear that "green" is the new "black" when it comes to selling your Reno home. In September 2010, Reno was named as one of the 22 Smartest Cities for Energy by the National Resources Defense Council. The City of Reno began its Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy Initiative to take advantage of the natural, renewable resources at the City's fingertips.
