Hello, Spring!! Today, I stumbled upon this wonderful 5-minute video about getting motivated to do a little Spring cleaning. "Do It On A Dime by Kathyrn " shares some amazing quick, inexpensive tips and tricks to clean all of those places of the home we usually don't think about (under the bed), or those areas we tend to ignore (the window coverings) and those other hard to reach areas (the ceiling fans)  that we are just to busy to clean on a weekly basis (guilty). As I was watching I started to think this would be a great video for home sellers! I always encourage my sellers to clean or have their homes professionally cleaned prior to listing their home for sale. But, if they don't have the time or the money to hire someone to clean professionally, this video would be a great tool to s...

This community is in the middle of both areas. Once completed, Bella Vista Ranch will offer a family-focused luxury community with a community clubhouse, luxury style homes with gourmet kitchens and private master suites. Bella Vista Ranch is conveniently located near restaurants, shopping areas, and recreational activities. The Mt...

However, when you do locate one, heed these Reno fixer-upper tips to create your dream home rather than buying a money pit.Reno Fixer-Upper TipsWorst House/Best NeighborhoodAnyone who's a fan of those HGTV fixer-upper TV shows knows that the #1 rule of buying a fixer-upper is to look for the worst house in the best neighborhood. Why? For one thing, location. You can tear down walls, add rooms, paint and powder to your heart's content. The one thing you can't change is where your Reno home is located. Affordability continues to be a sticky subject in the Reno housing market. The economy managed to slowly rebound from its huge downfall in the mid to late-2000s thanks in large part to its appeal for businesses in nearby Silicon Valley as well as other large corporations. However, their move into our area put a stranglehold on availability which builders are currently trying to catch up with. And we may not see relief in the Reno housing crunch until sometime in 2019.Reno Housing CrunchConstruction was big business for our community before the economic downturn of the last decade. That's why it took longer for Reno to pull itself up. Builders want to relieve the Reno housing crunch. But current demand drives up costs. They must sell homes in the $400,000 range in order to turn a profit ...
