If you are looking for a good deal on Rio Rancho NM Homes for Sale, Northern Meadows could be a good option for you. Where is Northern Meadows Located? Northern Meadows is located in north/central Rio Rancho near the intersection of Unser and King Blvds. When they were first building in Northern Meadows it seemed like the middle of nowhere. Now there are many homes, improved roads like Paseo de Volcan and other nearby developments like Mariposa and Northern Meadows seems much less isolated.   Who Built the Homes in Northern Meadows The first homes in Rio Rancho were built by AMREP in the mid to late nineties. More recently DR Horton, RayLee/Vantage, Fuller, KB, Centex and Tiffany have built there. Dr Horton is still building there today, and so are Fuller and Vantage.   What is the Aver...

It is premature to say the Rio Rancho housing market has "turned," and it's impossible to predict the future, but we have had positive news about the Rio Rancho real estate market for about a year now. The wildcard here is the First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit and how the market will be affected when it expires Ap...

The City of Rio Rancho's population in 1995 was and estimated 47,000.  Currently it is the fourth-largest city in the state of New Mexico and growing on an average of 2,000 people per year. Where there is growth there are new schools, jobs, roads, industry and the list goes on.  This makes Rio Rancho very attractive to the home buying market and continues to make your purchase and ownership of your three bedroom home a good investment on your return.  "The City of Vision" well known as Rio Rancho holds true to its nickname.  The prediction is within a decade, Rio Rancho will be the second largest city in New Mexico with its strengths in affordable housing, the job market and quality of life. The three bedroom house awaits you in Rio Rancho and boasts the second-lowest crime rate in the state of New Mexico. There are many concerns that surface when the wheels start to turn in the thoughts of purchasing a home, location of the home, the age and condition of the home, do we need 3 bedroom or would it be a better long term investment to have the 4th bedroom or study, and then how about the neighborhood. Rio Rancho has been progressive in establishing a safe community to live in which is evident as it has the second-lowest crime rate in the state, a fact important to the home buyers who want to raise their children in a safe environment. Rio Rancho is also becoming known for its special events such as Balloon Rally at Rio Rancho's Balloon Park, SpringFest, Country West July 4th ...

Short sales are not for everyone, but if you are looking to get a great deal on a Rio Rancho NM Home for Sale a short sale might be right for you. Rio Rancho NM Short Sales Why do I say they are not for everyone? It can take several months to know if your offer has been accepted You'll have to pay for your on inspections The listing agent will probably take multiple offers and you might be outbid Short sales are great for investors who can wait, but they're not so great for buyers who want to be under contract by April 30 and close by June 10 to cash in on the first time home buyer tax credit. First time Rio Rancho home buyers should focus instead upon finding Rio Rancho Homes for Sale that are priced to sell. They are good deals out there that will close on time!

It's still the best investment in real estate, the ever popular three bedroom, two bath, two car garage home. It meets the needs of the largest part of the market which makes it the most popular pick to buy or sell. Check this beauty out: This beautiful Michael Sivage Home at High Range in Rio Rancho comes with stellar views of the Sandia Mountains. There are many upgrades to this fine quality-built home including my favorite upgrade, the wraparound porch. This new community in Rio Rancho will also be boasting an 8 acre park including a run for the dogs. Noone is left out here! And if that is not enough, look at what’s next door. This gorgeous 2 story new construction home with lots of extras: So remember, when you're thinking about buying your Rio Rancho home:The three bedroom, two bat...

I had a great time looking at New Houses for Sale in Rio Rancho NM today. I had some potential buyer clients come to town on Monday. Guess how they found me? Yep, that's right,  through my Active Rain blog. We met at the office on Monday morning, and it turned out we are all from the Chicago area. Needless to say we hit it off instantly. One of the reasons I blog is that I want to attract a certain kind of client. By that I don't mean they have to be multi millionaires. Far from it! What I"m looking for is clients who take their home search seriously. I'm looking for clients who do research online before they start looking at houses. I'm looking for clients who do their homework when they are looking for a Realtor too. So it was awesome when they called and told me they found me through...

I love the Golf Course Properties in Rio Rancho. In fact, some of the absolute nicest houses in Rio Rancho are on Chamisa Hills Golf Course. Rio Rancho NM Fabulous Golf Course Properties Chamisa Hills Golf Course is located in the south part of Rio Rancho (see map below) not too far from Southern Blvd and Rio Rancho Blvd (528). There are three nine hole courses. One of the big advantages of living in Rio Rancho is the moderate climate. The weather is ideal for Golf 8 months out of the year. The average high temperature for March is 61 degrees.  Of course you don't have to be a golf enthusiast to enjoy the benefits of living on a Rio Rancho Golf Course. The park-like atmosphere and manicured greens make for fabulous views from the homes the back up to the greens. I love helping buyers fi...

Lavender is one of my favorite sun-loving plants that you can use to spruce up your Rio Rancho Home for Sale. Spring is just around the corner!  Historically, home sales are the strongest from Spring till Fall.  Buyers tend to plan the purchase of their new home around their children’s summer vacation and not to interrupt their school schedule.  Lavender is a great addition that you can use to brighten up your curb appeal. Curb appeal is very important when you are presentating in your home for sale.  Lavendar blooms in summer and the fragrance is sure to intoxicate and appeal to the prospective Buyer of your Rio Rancho home. Are you getting ready to sell your Rio Rancho home?   Sparkling Windows will give your home the appearance of shine inside and out. Windows are the view to the outside world. The Sandia Mountains (Tiwa Pueblo name posu gai hoo-oo, "where water slides down arroyo") are a mountain range located in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties. However, there is  no grander view of the Sandias than from Rio Rancho in my opinion.  The mountains mysteriously seem to double or even triple in size and they feel like they are only a short path away.  Yes, the Twin Mountain sunrise we view from scenic property in Rio Rancho far and near is a spectacle to behold. What better way to view them than from the warmth and center of your new Rio Rancho home?

In the perfect location away from the chaos of city center of Albuquerque but close enough to enjoy all the amenities, Rio Rancho stands alone. Don't buy anything until you have seen the Rio Rancho NM homes for sale. Communities like Mariposa perpetuate the laid-back feel that only exists in quaint havens like Rio Rancho. With a population of approximately 90,000 it is possible to afford the luxuries that are unavailable in big-cities. Spacious homes backing onto ranges like the Chamisa Hills Golf Course are surprisingly inexpensive. It is obvious people are noticing this idyllic township as it is the fastest growing city in New Mexico. Driven on maintaining the bliss, Rio Rancho even has organizations such as KRRB (Keep Rio Rancho Beautiful) that's primary goals are upholding paradise ...

I went out to preview Rio Rancho NM Homes for Sale today, and I saw some great one story homes. I am amazed that in this competitive real estate market that some sellers have not really made their homes ready for showings. I saw one home that had dirty dishes on the counters and smelly diapers on the floor. They knew I was coming, but they didn't take the time to tidy up. Of course, that was the worst house I saw today, but there were other homes that needed to be decluttered and depersonalized. My goal in previewing Rio Rancho Homes was to select only the best one story homes to show my relocation buyers. The have specific needs, they'll only look at one story homes with refrigerated air, and they'll only look at clean and decluttered homes. So Mr. and Mrs. home seller, clean and declu...
