Holland Township NJ Data on Homes for Sale, September 2010 - Hunterdon County Real Estate Market Reports   Sometimes I'm asked why my Holland Township NJ market report for previous months might change when I post a subsequent graph. It's because I take the time to capture the most accurate picture. Some real estate agents might submit their MLS info after I've done my research. Too, deals can fall apart - something we try to avoid with YOUR home for sale.    As I do market reports for Holland Township and other Hunterdon County areas, they will all appear at Market Snapshot Report - Real Estate Data on Homes for Sale in Hunterdon County NJ. That may be the second-easiest way to keep your pulse on the market. First, of course, is to call me!   For houses that closed during August, record...

Holland Township NJ Data on Homes for Sale, July 2010 - Hunterdon Real Estate Market Reports My Holland NJ Real Estate Market Report is based on data recorded in GSMLS as of July 2, 2010. Statistics do change if a deal doesn't close or something gets recorded late, so figures are subject to change. All my market trend reports will be indexed at Market Snapshot Report - Real Estate Data on Homes for Sale in Hunterdon County NJ.   The inventory of Holland Township homes for sale remains very attractive with the normal, slight uptick of the spring market. No surprise given the tax credit deadline was April 30 that we had a HUGE number of homes go Under Contract. Congress did extend the closing deadline, so the 1st time homebuyers who didn't close by June 30 are in luck. Difficult to draw a...

No, this isn't another post about me making bread. It's about me making $$$ thanks to my ActiveRain efforts and becoming a RainMaker right from the start. (Bless you, Joel Kruse!) I was inspired to post after reading many year-end/year-start posts about the value of blogging. To date, cost for my Outside Blog = $270; income already in my pocket from my OB = $3600. Don't know about your return on other marketing measures, but nothing else I've done has come close to that rate of return! I knew nothing about blogging, SEO, etc. at the beginning of April 2009. For less than $30 a month, I got my Outside Blog, RealtorIrene Blogs about Sussex County NJ Real Estate.  I participated in every bit of training offered by ActiveRain - webinars, etc - and did my best to implement all I was learning...

Best Bread Ever - Recipe & Video - Irene Kennedy, Warren & Hunterdon County NJ Real Estate Agent Many of my home buyers and sellers will be enjoying a loaf of the Best Bread Ever this holiday season.   Whereas most folks simply want me to deliver a freshly-baked loaf, quite a few have asked for the recipe for this breakfast bread. I haven't forgotten your request that followed my thank-you loaf of bread, Mary from the Vernon Building Department. This is a spectacular recipe to make with young children. Yes, many of the ingredients will disappear long before they hit the pan. Yes, you'll have flour everywhere. While I realized kids would like the process, I was unprepared for the real pride they take in the finished product.    If you would like the recipe alone, just email me and I'll s...

The front page of our local paper, the Hunterdon County Democrat, carried a story with a picture which looks like it came out of a fairy tale. A local girl, Brooke Hardy, tried out for American Idol. While she did not make the cut there, she made an impression in Washington. Her longtime boyfriend is a Marine Staff Sergeant, Chris Kelk. His most recent assignment was at the White House. Reassignment from the White House includes a photo with the president. Brooke was with Chris when he went for his picture with President Bush. According to the article, President Bush said to Chris, "Don't let this one get away. You better marry this girl...She's such a beautiful girl."  The next evening Chris made a very romantic proposal.  After dinner at the Perryville Inn, the couple took a walk on t...
