Are you a first-time homebuyer considering purchase a condo, townhouse or single family home? Ever thought about moving to Manalapan, Marlboro, Freehold, Old Bridge or any of the great commuter-friendly towns Monmouth & Middlesex County NJ offers?  Well if so, help has arrived! On July 30, 2008, President Bush signed a major housing bill (H.R. 3221) into law. It is now 3:19am eastern standard time (literally as I began writing this), and I just got home from Macy's. Yep, you heard me right...Macy's at 3 in the AM! Now I know you're probably thinking, "What in the world is Amber doing at Macy's that time of night?" Well last minute Christmas shopping of course...hello people! :) But that's actually not the reason for this post. So back to the story... I actually went to the Macy's at the Freehold Raceway Mall first, but they closed at 12 midnight. I wasn't finished shopping, so I developed an instant headache at the thought of having to rush around the next day on Christmas Eve to find the final few items. So as I'm leaving the store, I overhear one of the sales clerks telling a shopper that the Macy's at the Menlo Park Mall (Edison, NJ) is o...

Congratulations to Freehold High School for being named by U.S. News & World Report as one of the best high schools in the nation for the second straight year.  According to the magazine, evaluation criteria was based on the ideas that a great high school must serve all students well, not just college bound students and that it must produce measurable academic outcomes that show the school is successfully educating its entire student body.   "This is a true measurement and tribute to the teachers and students of Freehold High School and the hard work they all do," said Linda Jewell, Freehold High School Principal.   U.S. News & World Report evaluated over 21,000 public high schools and awarded Freehold High School with a silver ranking. It is the only comprehensive high school in Monmou...

You found my blog. You're interested in the Colts Pride development for sale in Freehold Township, New Jersey 07728. Colts Pride is located on Route 537 (Colts Neck Road). Here is my local real estate market report fot Colts Pride. Before we jump into real estate, let's talk about rock. Like a rock from the outer galaxies of space. Think NASA!  Last year an extraterrestial celebrity appeared in Freehold Township, New Jersey. A space rock landed in Colts Pride, right on Kentucky Way (Citation Drive). Renowned scientists from all other the state inspected the one pound meteriote that crashed through a bathroom. Alas it was determined that the object was not organic to the Heavens. It was falling debris from a spacecraft or satellite. Galactic junk. Yet the local story made International he...

For me Freehold Township (zipcode 07728) real estate represents a true proposition of value for the growing family looking for a four bedroom home with a basement for under $500,000 (half a million). Did you know you can buy a four bedroom Colonial in Freehold Township below the average sales price? Freehold Township scores high on my profile of a winning place to live: Solid schools and recreational facilities (parks, ballfields, entertainment like the Freehold Raceway and the Freehold Raceway Mall). Numerous commuting options to New York City, Jersey City, Hoboken and northern points. Affordable home prices in relation to neighboring towns. I’d like to focus on the neighboring towns. Freehold Township borders Colts Neck, Manalapan and Marlboro (as well as Howell). This chart describes...
