Sutton Woods Chatham NJ - Hurricane Sandy Report Hurricane Sandy has been devastating for the NY Tri-State area but we have been very fortunate at Sutton Woods in Chatham NJ to have had gotten through this terrible event with little damage. We were without electricity for 10 days.  That means no heat, hot water, or TV.  It was a bit isolating and certainly very quiet.  A few trees are down but travel throughout Sutton Woods is a breeze, not like the rest of town or even nearby towns where trees are lying in streets and yards all over the place.  All in all, we were very lucky at Sutton Woods.
