Waxhaw NC Real Estate Market Report—2009 How did the Waxhaw NC real estate market fare in 2009 and how did it compare with 2008?  The Waxhaw NC single family home market in 2009 declined in average price and number of homes sold, reflecting what happened to the Charlotte NC market as a whole.  Average prices were off 14% and the number of sales was off 19%.  Single family home sellers waited an average of 11% longer to sell their homes. The townhome market in Waxhaw was stronger than the single family home market in 2009.  Average prices were only off 6% and there were 58% more sales during 2009 than in 2008.  Average days on the market were the same for both years.
