KUDOS to Mr. Myer, teacher at Wake Forest Rolesville Middle School and all around great guy! Mr. Myer spearheaded to school's Dance-A-thon and he did an awesome job. What impressed me the most was his dedication to the students. The education system would be a 1000% better if all teachers had his heart. Thank you:   The event was fantastic and a roaring success:       So if you run into Mr. Myer please tell him "thanks".   Also, I am sure they will still take donations (which go to The Duke Miracle Children's Hospital).   Til next year.   Jim Fischetti www.jimfischetti.com

Mothers are an awesome blessing, they make us smile                                                         smile.   They make us laugh, they make us forget the bad stuff. They are simply the best!   So remember those special ladies Sunday:                                               Consider writing her a letter telling her how great she is:                                                   May 11 is Mother's Day, remember her Sunday and everyday.   To my Mom, I love you.   To the Mother of my children and my best friend, I love you!     Thanks and please share your mama stories.       Jim Fischetti www.jimfischetti.com

I'm proud to say I've supported these kids every year. Watching them grow, watching their charity take shape gives all of us hope in the next generation. So go support the kids while they:                                                 They may not be a cute as her, but they'll be having as much fun. Besides Duke Childrens Hospital needs the:                                                 money.  So for all of us in                                   Wake Forest lets help the kids help others. Contact the school or me for info. www.jimfischetti.com

How lucky are we?  A very welcome addition has opened it's doors in historic downtown Wake Forest and it has been welcomed with open arms!  The Wake Forest Coffee Company opened just a few weeks ago and the response in downtown has been overwhelming.... Located at 156 South White Street the Wake Forest Coffee Company is in the midst of the shopping in downtown and it offers a great haven for a quiet stop in the day (OR NIGHT) to relax, read a book, play a game, catch up on homework, chat with a friend or simply watch the crowds go by..... From the simple cup of freshly brewed coffeehouse coffee to the masterfully prepared cup of latte or cappuccino you can taste the experience, determination and care in each sip.  The baristas and other staff are genuinely friendly, knowledgeable and si...

Real Estate sure is getting a "black-eye" in the media these days. But I say, hogwash. It is a great time to look at Real Estate. Most people move because of relational, peronal or family reasons, NOT because of a market condition. When the local retailer has a "red-dot" sale the parking lot fills up, well you need housing more than jeans so go get that well priced "shelter" and INVESTMENT for you and your loved ones while you can save:The great thing about today's market is you can get this:  For what is use to cost to get:  Besides, with today's values you can work less to own your own place which means you have more time for this:   See it really is an AWESOME OPPORTUNITY for what is really important! Visit us at www.jimfischetti.com  Thanks,     Jim

I am amazed at all of the shows that encourage enormous home improvement projects that promise a huge return when you sell your home.  Don't get me wrong there are some projects that are necessary like maybe this extremely outdated wallpaper in this picture......While I understand that each person has different tastes you need to remember that when you are preparing your home for sale it must be as neutral as possible. A few items that I like to mention to sellers are inexpensive in monetary value but pack a huge punch when it comes to preparing your home for the market. A new accent rug that ties in several of your colors in a room.  New knobs and pulls for your kitchen cabinets and drawers.  Do you know that you can change the whole feel of the kitchen with just this simple update?  U...
