What Do YOU Do To have a FEATURED Post?

I am stilll trying to be successful with AR and try new things a lot. I see where some of our folks get to have a featured post. Is that measured from the content of the post, or the number of hits or what? I read them and think that they had written an exceptional post and enjoy them. Any hints or ideas would be greatly appreciated.Just wondering. Ginger
