Fairway Woods is conveniently located in West Sanford just off of Hawkins Avenue, with easy access to US 1.  Fairway Woods is within 2 miles of the Lee County industrial park that is home to Wyeth Vaccines, Caterpillar, and other businesses.  The community is located next to the publicly owned Sanford Gold Course, with many golf front and golf view homes.   The photo at left was taken in early spring when the azaleas at the entrance were in full bloom.
