 February 2025 Matthews Housing Report:Prices, Sales, Inventory Trends In February 2025, the Matthews real estate market experienced year-over-year growth in home sale prices. The average sale price remained steady month-over-month, while the median sale price declined. As home sale prices in the Matthews area ranged from the mid-$300,000s to just under $1.7 million during the month, the drop in median sale price likely reflects the mix of homes sold rather than an actual decline in property values within the 28105 zip code. The average days on market increased by 10 days compared with the previous month and by 29 days year-over-year. January 2025 Matthews Housing Report:Prices, Sales, Inventory Trends In January 2025, Matthews' real estate market saw home sale prices dip compared with the previous month, while rising year-over-year. As home prices in Matthews ranged from the mid-$200,000s to over $1.1 million in January, the month-over-month decline in average and median prices was likely due to the price mix of homes sold rather than an actual drop in property values in the 28105 zip code. The average days on market fell by 15 days from the previous month, but increased by nine days compared to the same time last year.
