Unpaved promises seem to be the order of the day for building and maintaining the road system. The bridges of America are in need of repair. There always seems to be a push for a new project and appropriating funds for studies. At what point are there enough roads. Eminent domain is even coming under question. Following the expansion philosophy of stimulating the economy by building accessibility will at some point become a burden to the economy. This is a personal opinion and does not reflect the views of any other entity (But perhaps tax payers)www.RealEstateWorkHorse.com

Updating pictures of real estate listings is an on going process. As spring rolls in, there are often better views from the curb. The grass is greener, spring flowers are blooming and the leaves have not covered view from the street. Keeping in mind the view of a potential buyer of real estate the picture may show some changes that would help the listing sell. Any homes that are coming on the market and preparations are underway are good examples of taking pictures during the spring season. A series of time shots may give the perfect pictures of things like the azaleas in full bloom.                                             www.RealEstateWorkHorse.com

Now is the time of to start the curb appeal. This is the best bang on the buck as the things done now will do the most good for curb appeal. Fertilizing the yard, mulching plant beds, edging borders gives a great start to the spring season. It makes it easier to maintain throughout the growing season. This doea not have to be a major expensinse and allows for the best results with the least amount of time and money. Keep in mind that the first impression stay with everyone the most. www.RealEstateWorkHorse.com

Kernersville North Carolina has gotten rain today. As we are in the middle of a drought we are glad to see any precipitation. Kernersville does not have the same water crisis that other cities have as there a good water supply. This has set Kernersville as a good place to live and also for developers to build communities. Real Estate in Kernersville still has some wells and there were a few that had gone dry. For the most part public water has been close enough for the owner to at least have an alternative. Being on active rain and writing bloggs helps in sharing information and even having a little fun as we are having an Active Rain in Kernersville North Carolina.Green Yards in Kernersville at http://www.realesateworkhorse.com/

Kernersville real estate and the first signs of spring are here. Looking at the John-Quills forming buds is always the sign that spring is coming. I like to compare this in the mornings with the current real estate market. I am experiencing sign of budding buyer as they are becoming more tuned into the traditional saving methods and financial responsibility. The real estate buyers of today are more realistic about things not being handed to them and realizing that the programs of the past few years are only temporary solution. Kernersville has a good infrastructure with jobs that available. Real estate is well and there is affordable housing. See Kernersville Real Estate at http://www.realestateworkhorse.com/

Creating paper wealth is not a bad thing. Often I ask myself is this the best strategy. Investing in real estate is good and a wise decision. The value real of real estate tends to preform well over time. Much of the quick flipping has flopped and the steady plans of sweat equity is back in the picture. Derivatives or cash flow of properties has come back into the picture as the risky portion of high yields of creating paper wealth has not preformed for some investors .Look for real estate to create both types of wealth at www.RealEstateWorkHorse.com

Greensboro,NC Real Estate of the triad area of North Carolina has a bright future. Homes are moving with slight gains. As with many areas there are properties that have not preformed well, mainly due to the condition and deferred maintenance of the real estate. Triad area real estate has gotten global attention with major corporation expanding and locating in the area. Greensboro shows up as a metro area in searches and is supported by the surrounding cities of Winston Salem, Kernersville and High Point as well many other smaller towns. The dynamic types and ranges of real estate has kept the market trending water when other areas have been struggling. Rentals for real estate in the area strong as the vacancy rates are tending to be small with owners I have spoken to. All factors consid...

Green collar for real estate agents may be the next trend. With real estate, each customer is unique and does not always focus on green. This is the opportunity to educate and guide real estate customers in the green direction. As the benefits of having green homes and the attributes of energy saving features become more pronounced there will be a staging effect of the green features. Dated real estate may very have the added challenge of green comparison to more energy homes. Sellers should consider this as there is the immediate energy cost savings as well as the sellability of the home. This poses my questions of updating a kitchen in a home with single pain windows and the choice that should made. Many updates cannot improve the functionabilty and tend to fall short of the recoup va...

Get ready for the real estate rebound. Real estate has always done well and has support level that are not always transparent. Real Estate markets across the country are very different and some areas have being OK and others are not. Using good real estate business practices should be adhered to in good times and are necessary in slower times. This is time to lay the ground work for a real estate business as there are many who will be buying homes in the future. www.RealEstateWorkHorse.com and www.BonnerTCR.com

Winston Salem is located 2-3 hours from the Blue Ridge Mountains and 3.5 to 4.5 hours from beautiful the beaches of the Carolinas. Real estate in the Piedmont region that Winston Salem is located in, enjoys a temperate climate. There are many industries creating a diverse economy keeping real estate afloat. Last night more than ten agents from Keller Williams Realty Kernersville office attended the Kernersville Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours.  The January Business After Hours was hosted by C. P. Morgan.  This was a well attended event with lots of great networking (and food).   All in attendance were able to view the C.P. Morgan New Home Showroom and talk with vendors such as Embarq and Piedmont Natural Gas.  For Realtors it was a great opportunity to learn about the new home communities they are building in Winston-Salem and Burlington.  Keller Williams Kernersville office has approximately 80 agents who serve Kernersville, Winston-Salem, Greensboro and the entire Piedmont Triad Region.  Please visit my website at  http://www.shannonmeyeryourkwagent.com/.

Being relatively nes to real estate blogging and trying to leverage the power of the Internet. I am putting in my 2008 Internet plan referrals from the Internet. About 70% of my business comes from Internet lead generation (including past clients and those they refer to me) The triad area of North Carolina is definitely on the radar of many relocations and I wish to be the Realtor of choice for Realtors as well as consumers. Referrals have a good deal of trust built in with them. Don't make a move to North Carolina with out talking to the Real Estate WorkHorse. Real Estate housing starts for November were released this morning. The numbers did not seem to be a surprise in commentary with the media. Real Estate has been under the microscope of the media for some time as real estate has been in the backwash of fairly large appreciation in recent years. The link on the numbers is http://www.census.gov/const/newresconst.pdf One item that occur to me is that there are still housing starts in real estate as well as existing homes still being sold. There are pockets that are not selling. With real estate it comes down to individual properties. In a great real estate market if ones home is not selling or in a bad market if one home has sold then owners feel the opposite of the numbers.Traditional real estate methods are still in place and very strong. ...

Real Estate and holiday clutter sometimes can be like oil and vinegar. Generally well kept homes are not very much of a challenge. The homes where there becomes a question of where is the motivation to sell this piece of real estate is the challenge in educating owners to stage properly. Real estate is a business of first impressions and making sure that the home is ready to show at all times is very important. Obviously people need to live and enjoy the holiday season. There can be a happy balance and often makes for a happier season. Much the same as waste not want. How much stuff do we really need as a society. Reflecting on the spirit of the holiday season may give rise to the renaissance of just being thankful and giving things that are useful. Best Wishes in your Real Estate ventu...
