On Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Catawba Science Center (CSC) and Hickory Museum of Art (HMA) will partner to host a costume-making event to help make some very special costumes. This event is inspired by CSC’s Light Moves exhibition, and will take place in CSC’s Inventor’s Workshop.  Participants, with the assistance of local engineers, will have the opportunity to create costumes using lengths of Electro-Luminescent Wire (EL Wire). Each participant will be provided with 10 feet of EL Wire and a power source.
