ERA Strother Real Estate is excited to announce our Annual Street Party, being held this year at Yorkshire Plantation!  On August 16th (time TBD) we will open up the streets of our New Home Community, Yorkshire Plantation, and have a grand ole' time!  There will be free food and drinks, and of course lots of fun!  We're excited to open the Street Fair up to the general public, and hope that anyone and everyone in the area will be able to make it and have some fun!  We will have several drawings that you won't want to miss...more details to follow! Checking out the news this morning and a certain story catches my eye.  Seems as though they are talking about a certain Visual Tour provider.  Hmm...this ought to be good.The jest of the story is about the safety factor.  The story is about how doing a visual tour and then publishing it onto the internet creates basically a "window shopping" atmosphere for those among us that are not so trustworthy.Hmmm...good thought.  Sometimes we as sales professionals see the steps we take but maybe don't consider all the ramifications that could come out of those actions.  Now understand...the home seller should know that they are assuming risk when they ask for these services and this should be explained at the time that you present the idea.But...on the flip side this could be a good selling poi...

Ok, first off let me admit...this is sort of a pet peeve.In a word...Photos.Better Yet, Listing Photos.There is nothing better you can do as a listing agent then to put as many QUALITY photographs into an MLS system listing as the listing service allows.  To do anything else is a injustice to the client (aka seller) as it hurts their chances of selling the home quickly.I have actually had people call me and tell me they want to see a property because the photos make it look great.  Now that is doing the job of a listing agent and a great service to the seller.Our MLS allows us to put up to 8 photos into a listing.  Can you guess how many I put into a listing?  That's right EIGHT!When I am working for a buyer and searching for properties the one thing that makes a home go to the bottom o...
