Valentine Making for Valentines for Vets Thursday, February 2nd at 4 PM   Eva Perry Regional Library 2100 Shepherd's Vineyard Drive Apex, NC   Eva Perry Library will be hosting a Valentines for Vets Event Thursday, February 2nd at 4 PM. This is a drop-in craft for upper elementary, middle school, and high school students. Make a Valentine for a Veteran! The Library  provides the supplies; you provide the manpower and creativity. For those of you who've been following my blogs, you might know by now that I occasionally like to play around with Photoshop.You might also know that I'm a big fan of my daughter Laura.Well, my dear readers, despite the fact that she'll often roll her eyes at some of the "creations" I've come up with over the years, Laura has taken a liking to Photoshop too! Go figure!!!This semester at Apex High School, Laura has an Art History class. Her first assignment was to create a Google Doodle, entirely from scratch. You know the ones. Apex Christmas Parade - Dec. 3rd, 2011 Town of Apex, NC   Today, as it has for the last 50 years, the Town of Apex, NC will play host to the Apex Christmas Parade. Salem Street, (our Main Street) will once again be lined with an estimated 15,000 people all ready to enjoy the festivities.
