Grasshoppers are just gross looking.  I know they're one of God's creatures, but yuk! We were destined to have a terrible year for grasshoppers on the Eastern Montana prairie, but so far, it's been bad, but not nearly as awful as we expected. I love to go for rides, and while I was touring some large land parcels on the Molt-Rapelje road, I had to stop the car for the biggest grasshopper I'd ever seen in the area.  I don't know what kind of fertilizer this fellow was munching on, but I think farmers should just keep that stuff in a tighter grasshopper container. If I head out to the mailbox and run into one of these guys, I'm just gonna have to call on the Montana Army National Guard (could make a good movie).

It's not hot but its not cold. Its been raining off and on for the past few days. I'm so ready for some summer. And I am ready for some camping trip soon. I have been getting our camper ready for this summer. I am ready for some fishing and hiking. I am ready for some out door actives. I guess you can see I'm ready for summer. How is the weather for some of you? I'll be honest, I would like some 70 to 80 for a while and then have it cool off with some rain. So I'm so at lost for words these days. I have been busy doing spring cleaning. And planting some flowers in my flower gardens. Now my husband and I are going to get some fire wood for our fireplace. So these days I have been updating my web site and then going to facebook and then trying to see what to write about on my Twitter. So ...

I'll be honest, its not my call to tell you when to buy or when to wait, why? Its your choice! Think very carefully before you make a choice. Buy now or wait! I know how overwhelming it can be. You'll know personally, when its a good time to buy or when it's a good time to wait. Personally, for me its timing.1st question I would ask is, are you working with a lender? That need to come first to see, what do you quality for? For me personally, I would like to know "what do I quality for first before I go house hunting. And at last the "price range" that works best for you. Then the location that works in your best interest for you and your family. And then the fun part, what "styles" of home work best for you and your family. Then at last, house hunting.Or you can wait for the recession t...

Speechless Sunday - Absarokee Sunset on Christmas Day I can not imagine getting tired of taking photos of sunrise and sunsets. Here are a couple of photos taken at dawn using my digital camera's zoom lense from the backyard of my friends' house in Absarokee, Montana (Absarokee is about 30 miles from Red Lodge). I thought the two horses seen above complemented very well this peaceful scenery. Here is the sunset photo taken in Absarokee, Montana.   Click on the following link to see the sister post: Speechless Sunday - Red Lodge Sunset on Christmas Eve   Gerry Khatchikian, ASA, TRC (4 languages spoken: English, French, Spanish, Armenian)Realtor Associate ASA: Associate of the Society of Actuaries    TRC: Transnational Referral Certification Gerry_Khatchikian@yahoo.com All photos and/or wr...

Sunset Photos from Absarokee, Montana a.k.a Big Sky Country The following photos were taken in Absarokee (about 30 miles northwest of Red Lodge, Montana) on Thanksgiving day.  The sky was so mesmerizing as the turkey was getting ready that I seized the opportunity to take these photos which I am happy to share with you. This first photo includes the moon (top left of photo). Here is a panoramic photo (taken a couple of minutes before) so that you can get a better sense of the beautiful landscape and sunset sky. Here's one to highlight the view of the Beartooth-Absaroka mountain range. And here's one to leave you with (a zoom towards the sun setting and hiding behind the mountains). There is something about a sky without any obstructed view no matter which way you look especially at dawn...

If you are the adventurous type, white water rafting is one of the many fun things you can do when you visit Red Lodge and the surrounding area. I had a great time this past weekend white water rafting down the Stillwater River with Absaroka River Adventure.  For more info, you can check out their website at www.absarokariver.com  . Here are some of the photos I took with my secondary digital camera.  I would not risk getting my main camera wet but they nicely surprised me when they provided me with a waterproof case to take on the raft and put my camera in when the water got rough.    It was a very nice adventure and time well spent with friends.  There were lots of pretty views along the way and no camera was damaged taking the photos above.  It's Good to Be Here!! Many agents have fabulous writing skills, photography skills and internet skills.  Not all sell real estate regularly.  Not all sell real estate full time!   When you are checking out different agents, be sure to check their sales history, current listings and education.  I have seen some that have fantastic websites, been in business for years, and only sell a certain type of property, like mobile homes on lots.  This agent would be the one to call if that is what you are in the market for.    Just looking at their blogs, is definitely a great place to start, but you should also follow thru to their website, and check "their" listings, designations and affiliations.   IF you are looking for an agent who sells land or properties with land, commercial properties, riverfront,  give me a c...

When you think it will get better, oh no, here we go again. The rollercoaster ride start up again, the stock market either rise or fall.  I am so tried of the rollercoaster ride with stock market. When will the rollercoaster ride stop? That a question, so many America are asking, when will this stop? It's like sitting on the edge of the seat ready for the next hat to drop. Do you know what I mean? I'll be honest, I'm not ready for another hat to drop. I'm ready for this to stop. I'm pulling a "poll" of how many of you are ready for this to stop? With the stock market!

I would like to give you a warm welcome for visiting me.  Opening the door to a home of your own is a awesome feeling.  What's important is having the knowledge and experience are the "keys" to having a successful real estate transactions, especially buying a home of your own.  The one thing I came to believe is the keys to making the home buying process easier and more understandable is truly "planning" ahead of time.  Furthermore, planning will help you discover the home buying process. Making a purchase like a home loan will require the lender to runs a "credit report" on you.  Keep in touch with your credit report. Check it out before you go to the lender to see, if there any thing on your credit report that need to be taken care of before hand.  After that is done the next step wo...

Do you believe it?  It's already September!Wow!  This year had gone by fast.  To fast for me.  This morning we woke up to frosts.  We had our first frosts and it cold this morning.  I had to turn on the heater to just get the chill out of the air.  The current temperature right now is 42.  The high for us today will be 56 to the low of  36 tonight.   That's cold!  Especially, here.  The temperature drop down to the 30 last night.  32!  It will be cold all this week for us here in Absarokee, Montana.   My husband told me, when he came home last night from "work" that it's "snowing" up on the top of mountain.  Where at?  Stillwater mine where he work at.  Snowing!  He told me it was very cold at work for him yesterday.  That this morning he had to wear his coat.  There was frost on my hus...

I'm "one" out of millions of Realtors® who would like to do business with you.  Wow!  That would be overwhelming to me too, choosing an Realtors® out of millions of them.  I'll be honest, I choose to be real with you then giving you fancy words to read about.  Fancy words doesn't express who I am with you.  Being real, down to earth Realtor® does express who I am. Fancy words doesn't show you my background with you.  I can go into showing you all of my fancy education, but that doesn't mean any thing.  Being "real" mean more, then the fancy education.  Yes, I can go into dressing myself up with fancy educations, but that doesn't show you who I am.  Fancy education doesn't help you to do what's needed to be done in the "real life" situation as to "selling" your property to "buying" a pro...
