Senatobia Presbyterian Churchby Pam SimpsonThe Kudzu Vine Senatobia Presbyterian Church, at the corner of Main Street and Highway 51 in Senatobia MS is a beautiful example of modified Gothic architecture.  The present building (shown below) was dedicated on October 2, 1927.   The interior is graced with wonderful exposed beams in the ceiling and 3-panel stained glass windows.  Although the present building is only 82 years old, the Presbyterian Church in Senatobia was founded in 1848 and was originally located where the present day Bethesda Cemetery is now (further south on Hwy 51).  It was originally called Bethesda Presbyterian Church.  It was organized by the Rev. In February, 2008, PK U.S.A., Inc. announced that they will build a new stamping and welding assembly manufacturing plant in Senatobia.  They are currently renovating a building formerly occupied by Deltona Lighting and they are also building a 140,000 square foot addition.  The Senatobia plant will provide parts to the Toyota plant being built outside of Tupelo as well as the Hino Motors in Marion, Ark., and Nissan plants nereby.
