On June 12, in addition to touring the Missouri Botanical Garden, I also walked the Japanese Garden. I think this is my favorite part of the garden. You can see a large part of the Japanese Garden when traveling on Magnolia Street (on south side), but you have to peer though the fence. To fully appreciate it, you need to spend a few hours walking the meandering path through the garden. This is the largest traditional Japanese Garden in North America. It covers 14 acres, including a 4.5 acre lake.
