Raytown, Mo Landlord Licensing at issue again!Today Tim Truesdale, with the city of Raytown approached me at a Chamber meeting. Tim asked me to provide input to guide them in this process. It is nice to know that the city is interested in our input. Raytowns plans differs from Kansas City in that the Hancock Amendment does not come into play in Raytown. The requirement to have the issue voted on would likely mean that it would require a vote of the alderman.Unlike Kansas City this is not viewed as a source of revenue to prop up an indebted government.Raytown has issues they would like to address in respect to property values and perception of the city.
