Saturday was the 2011 Christmas Parade in Ozark MO. Yes I know, its not even Thanksgiving yet, but hey its the tradition here in Ozark to have it early before the weather gets too cold for the kids to get out and enjoy it. Years ago the parade was held during the day and attendance wasn't that good. Now that its held at night thousands of people come from all over to watch the parade. This Saturday is the 47th Annual Ozark Christmas Parade in Ozark MO! The parade starts at 6:00 pm and begins at the old Fasco building at West Jackson St. The parade continues East on Jackson, South on 3rd street to the square.We'll take pictures and maybe a video to share with you next week! Tonight was the ribbon cutting Ceremony at the brand new movie theater in Ozark MO! B&B Theatres Ozark/Nixa 12 opened tonight and wow was it impressive! The 45,000 sq ft theater is located just off Hwy 65 on Hwy 14 in Ozark MO. When we got there the parking lot was full and there were hundreds of people in line! This is a great new business for our area providing jobs and great entertainment.  There are 12 screens with stadium seating, some with leather seating! One of the best features of the theatre is the all-digital projection and Dolby surround-sound in every auditorium. Come on over to Ozark and enjoy a movie! With over a dozen antique stores its a great place to shop.    As you peruse the malls, it will undoubtedly bring back warm memories of your parents or grandparents homes and of a more relaxed pace of life. I’m not THAT old but I see things in there that I remember growing up that are now collectible. You can spend days looking for that unusual item or a whole houseful if you want. Antique Emporium - Ozark Mo Marketplace - Ozark Antique Shops   Ozark Missouri is located approximately 6 miles south of Springfield Missouri on Hwy 65.  It's a great place to shop and see all the localhome operated antique shops.  The Antique Emporium is one of the first shops you'll enjoy as you enter Ozark.   Located one block off Hwy 65, just south of Lambert's Cafe, The Antique Emporium is filled with rows and rows of old dishes, furniture, jewelry, toys and other collectible items. I'm not a history buff, but I have many old dishes handed down from my grandparents to me.  I'm always looking for different styles of antique salt cellars.....I inherited a collection from my Dad. Heather Hill Farms Ozark Mo - Ozark Marketplace - Ozark Mo Real Estate   One of my favorite stores in Ozark is Heather Hills Farms.  Being a cheese lover, I can walk in and check out all the different cheeses and take home wonderful fresh cheese.  They even have low fat and low sodium cheese.   Occasionally there is live entertainment and wine tasting events.   The store was opened in 2002 and and is currently located south of Lambert's Cafe in Ozark.  It has been family owned and operated by Bob, Heather and daughter Emily.  With the waiting period to get into Lambert's, you can shop at Heather Hill Farms and still enjoy the great food at Lambert's.   Some of the other items they carry is great soups sauces, rubs, Jellies and pickled beets.
