I was dragged, kicking and screaming and maybe a little crying but I was glad to finally get away.   Running your own business, from home no less, means work is always with you. You carry your phone, your laptop, your iPad, whatever.. it's always with you. But I was so thankful for my husband yesterday that made me leave it all.   Well, not really all. Ozark Missouri Real Estate Market Report | December 2011 Ozark Missouri is located a few miles south of Springfield and is only one of many communities surrounding Springfield Missouri.  Many new subdivisions sprang up over the past 10 years, but when the market slowed, new construction took a large hit.   Over the past year, the Ozark real estate market changed very little.  The average sale price decreased in 2011 to $155,037 compared to $159,762 in 2010.  The only major difference was the number of homes listed. Recently our Sunday School Class adopted a family for Christmas.  As the wish list came around we took our turn to choose a few items to purchase.  Within a couple of weeks everyone brought their wrapped gifts to be delivered to the family.  If someone was unable to go shopping then they could donate for food that was being purchased for their Christmas dinner.  What a joy it is to be apart of something so special.  This family needed our help and were so grateful when the delivery came and there were even more gifts than they ever expected.  Because of kindness someone else knows about His grace and love.  We have been blessed beyond measure by being a part of giving to someone we don't even know!  Christmas, it is better to give than receive!

Every year Christian County law enforcement, officers, firefighters and other government officials along with Walmart stores make sure children in need will have gifts to open on Christmas.  The shopping sprees took place at the Ozark Walmart with the Cops for Kids and the Nixa Walmart with the Shop With a Hero.  In both towns each child received a $100 gift card.  The officers and the kids enjoyed not only picking out gifts but gaining a friend.  These folks took time out of their busy schedules to help these kids!

November Ozark 2011 Real Estate Market Report | Ozark Mo Homes | Missouri Market Report I've lived in Ozark Missouri for the past 30 years and have seen lots of progress.  Our community is located 6 miles south of Springfield Missouri off of Highway 65 in Christian County.  Our home prices average $130,000, which makes home buying very reasonable.  As you can see from the numbers below, most of our homes sell below $200,000. Ozark Missouri currently has 237 homes for sale.  That equates to 7.4 month supply, if no new listings come on the market. There will be a ZUMBA PARTY on Friday, December 9th from 7:30 – 9:00 pm at First Baptist Ozark.  Woo Hoo!  So bring your lady friends to this FREE Zumba party !   Have your water bottles and towels ready.  They will be providing snacks!  This really is a Party!   The party is FREE but they are asking for donations to Least of These.  "Last year they collected a load of personal hygiene products from generous donations!  Examples:  shampoo, soap, razors, deodorant, facial cleanser, lotion, toilet paper, feminine products, toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss, hair spray, etc. etc.  These donations are really appreciated by the recieptients. Let's Zumba!

Ozark, Mo November 2011 Market Report  December 1, 2011, there were 4391 Active properties in the Greater Springfield Missouri Board of Realtors the GSBOR MLS.  There were 237 Active properties in Ozark, MO. Buyers often buy in their CHOICE school district.    Ozark School District in Ozark, Mo market report has been trending UP with LYTD numbers.   Total sales for Ozark is up from  $57,388,584 in 2010 to $59,417,005 in 2011. 2011 Average Sales price declined 2%, but the  # of transactions went up from 368 in 2010,  to 383 in 2011. When comparing November 2010 to November 2011, dropped in Ozark, MO, from 29 to 20.
